Naming A Boat In Ontario How To Renew Paint Where Boat Name Was?

How to renew paint where boat name was? - naming a boat in ontario

I bought a new boat and took the card from the old name was so that I rename it. Now I've gone the sun outlines of the letters in the painting. How can I do it myself, I have the new alphabet.

  1. I agree to use the 3M rubbing compound. Not quite, can perform this task if the letters were long overdue. You can use 600 grit wet sandpaper to remove the worst of all, then continue with the polishing agent.

Can we still be able to see the outlines of the old letter-cards, but fade with time. Their ship is good from 10 yards.

  2. The old name will not disappear completely polished.
If the area is painted with the name, then you can prepare and repaint.
Expect your new letter of the same or greater than the old cards.
Concealed with a good polish and letter of the new application, the former name remain sufficient.

Why did you change the name of a boat anyway? It can do very well on Friday to celebrate banana fruit drinks.

  3. You might try cutting compound like T-cut. Be careful if you can do everything at the end of the side / back that the problem lies in the color of the paint in the letters "true" and the rest is gone.
